Welcome! I am Damiana Corca.

I am here to get you to the place you’ve always wanted to be, healthy and thriving so you can live your life the way you want. With my help, you can do the things you love to do, without suffering.  I love helping people sleep well and completely change their physical and emotional health. My healing pathway was embedded in my being ever since I was born. Damiana is an aphrodisiac plant (Turnera Aphrodisiaca), though my mother had no clue about this. I am the youngest of 8 children in my family, so my mother knew this was most probably her last chance for a name she has always had in her mind, Damiana. My name was inspired from St. Damian, a doctor who traveled the country and helped people physically, emotionally, and spiritually.  Furthermore, I grew up watching my aunt do miracles with herbs – she was considered the witch of the town. Now I know, she was purely a gifted healer.

My strong determination to do what I truly love took me through a few different paths until I figured out what resonated with me. Experiencing my father dying of Alzheimer’s disease planted a seed in my heart, that one day I would make a difference in the health field.

I had always dreamed as a child to be a teacher so I decided to attend college for that. After a year I decided that Law school might suit me better. Half way through Law school, I felt like I finally found my true love – Acupuncture and Herbal medicine. To my family’s relief, I did graduate the third college.

I proudly graduated with Summa Cum Laude (GPA 4.0) from East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, Florida. I am Board Certified in Chinese Herbology, which altogether with the Board Certification in Acupuncture, Foundations of Chinese Medicine, and Biomedicine gives me the statute of Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
