Chinese Herbal Medicine

As one of the main branches of Chinese medicine, herbs have been used for thousands of years to help in the healing of physical and mental disorders. Many people find herbs to be an attractive treatment option because, if they are used skillfully, they are generally free of side effects. Herbal medicine supports and enhances one’s overall health. Click here to read more on Chinese herbs.

Injection Therapy

One of the adjunct therapies I use for pain in the clinic is Trameel injections which is a natural anti-inflammatory alternative to cortisone shots. Because of the nature of homeopathic remedies, there is no limit to the usage of these injections, it does not interfere with other treatments, and it does not have side effects. Chinese Massage

Tuina (Chinese massage) is the oldest known system of massage and physical therapy in the world. I use a combination of Acupuncture and massage in my session to maximize your health results. Click here to read more about Chinese massage.

As a practicing acupuncturist, I have observed patients with sleep disorders such as insomnia, experience relief of their symptoms with acupuncture within weeks of treatment. Herbal treatments have also been extremely effective for addressing these issues.

Acupuncture is a safe treatment option for poor sleep. It addresses the root cause of the sleep disorder without the side effects and costs of long-term pharmaceutical treatment. After several weeks, months, or years of sleeping poorly, people are amazed at how much better they feel once they start to get good quality rest.

Many people who experience insomnia for example, find that their sleep disturbances follow some specific patterns. For instance, an individual will sleep fine until exactly 3am every morning, and then stay wide-awake for 2 more hours before finally falling back asleep.

This is easily understood in Chinese medicine terms because the energy within our bodies follows patterns that correspond to the times of the day. A person experiencing sleep disturbances that follow time patterns is simply reflecting internal energetic disruptions. Acupuncture normalizes these disruptions, and helps the energy return to the interior of the body during nighttime hours.

When these changes take place you in your body many other symptoms get relieved and your overall health is improved.
