Welcome!

I am Dr. Damiana Corca. I am a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner from the Institute for Functional Medicine, and author of The Deep Blue Sleep—A roadmap to Fall Asleep and Stay Asleep Naturally.

I’ve been helping people sleep well over the past 15 years and I hear this repeatedly, “it’s so hard, not sleeping well”.

Many of my patients struggle with sleeping through the night, along with one or more of these symptoms or imbalances: anxiety, worry, humming sensation, feeling tired but wired, hot flashes/night sweats, restlessness, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances—just to give you a few examples.

If you are looking for a holistic approach to sleep well again, I can help you.

I will review your sleep history, sleep habits and routine, and past laboratory testing followed by where you presently are with your sleep and then we will make a treatment plan that will offer you the relief that you deserve.

A Roadmap to Fall Asleep and Stay Asleep Naturally

My recently published book helps people who have trouble sleeping, who are tired of feeling tired, and who are interested in finding natural solutions to their nighttime struggles through a functional medicine approach.

This in-depth book is a roadmap based on five types of insomnia: Anxious — Overthinking — Overtaxed — Depleted — Overburdened.

Available in Paperback, E-book, Audio.

Testimonial from a patient

“I’ve had a chronic sleep problem and during a fit of insomnia I went to Dr. Corca. I worked with her over several months in which we identified a number of issues that seem to impact my sleep pattern: diet, supplements, blood sugar, genes, etc. I’m grateful for working with her for all the knowledge I now possess about my physiology, but mostly because I’m sleeping much more consistently.”
